PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT
U.S. Embassy representatives from the American Citizen Services, Non-Immigrant Visa, and Immigrant Visa Units of the Consular Section; Department of Homeland Security; Social Security Administration; Veterans Affairs; Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment and the Joint US Military Assistance Group will be in:

American Citizen Services personnel will answer questions and:
ü Accept applications for Passports and Consular Reports of Birth Abroad
ü Provide information on registering with the Embassy
ü Perform notaries and affidavits of legal capacity to marry in the Philippines
Non-Immigrant Visa personnel will answer questions:
(Cannot entertain case/application specific inquiries)
ü Regarding visa application process
Immigrant Visa personnel will answer questions and:
ü Provide instructions for applying for U.S. Immigrant status
ü Field questions related to existing immigrant visa applications
Department of Homeland Security personnel will answer questions and:
ü Accept DHS applications/petitions
ü Provide instructions for filing such applications/petitions
ü Distribute DHS forms and guidelines regarding DHS applications/petitions
ü Provide information related to Immigration matters
Social Security Administration will answer questions and:
ü Discuss basic entitlement requirements for the different Social Security benefits;
ü Develop claims for benefits;
ü Process Social Security number applications;
ü Resolve Post-Entitlement cases, e.g., Change of Address, Report of Death, Medicare Enrollment, Direct Deposit enrollment, Non-receipt of benefits, etc.
Veterans Affairs Office will answer questions and:
ü Field general inquiries on specific claims
ü Assist in filling out VA application forms for various benefits such as compensation, pension, death benefits, burial benefits, claim for dependents and change of address.
VA- Vocational Rehabilitation & Employment will answer questions and:
ü Disseminate information to US regular servicemen regarding the VR&E services;
ü Motivate qualified and eligible veterans to avail of these services;
ü Follow-up with those who have already claimed VR&E Benefits;
ü Monitor the progress of those who are on training; and
ü Explore employment options & provide employment services for those who are on the job ready status.
Joint US Military Assistance Group (JUSMAG) personnel will answer questions:
(Cannot entertain case/application specific inquiries or make changes)
ü Discuss basic application process and entitlement requirements for military ID cards; and
ü Discuss Tricare benefits.
