VIMS Change
PHILIPPINE TOURIST VISA UPDATE 01: The Philippine Bureau of Immigration (BI) Commissioner has issued an official Memorandum advising departing foreign tourists with expired Philippine tourist visas that they may no longer update their visas at the airport. BI stated that all requests for tourist visa extensions filed at any international port of entry/exit shall immediately be referred to the Visa Extension Section of the BI Main Office (Magallanes Drive, Intramuros, Manila) or concerned subport/field office for appropriate action. The Embassy encourages Americans to keep their visas updated to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.
